Hi, Beer Lovers First, here’s a date for your diary. Our next meeting is at the Stag at West Acre (Low Rd, West Acre, King's Lynn PE32 1TR) at 8.00 on Tuesday 13th August. We may have a special guest at our meeting that some of you might remember from a long while ago. In September we are at the Heron in Stow Bridge and October, the Ferry Lane Social Club in Lynn. The Norwich day will be on Dec 14th this year. For Beer Festival Lovers Elgoods have been in touch 'We are offering half-price entry to all card-carrying CAMRA members for our beer festival, which takes place from 19th to 21st September this year. There is no need for individual members to book – just turn up with your card.' The Kings Arms at Shouldham have been in touch to tell us about their beer festival which runs from 30th August to 1st September on the Green in Shouldham. Part two is on Wednesday 21st August at ours again, starting at 7.00. There may be a couple of places available if anyone would like to come along for an evening tasting beer and eating delicious food, and possibly mopping the kitchen ceiling . Let me know if you are not on the list, but would like to come. Pub News The application for change of use for the Woolpack, Lynn has been withdrawn. The one for the Dog and Partridge at East Wretham has been refused, though it is being appealed and I have had an email from the applicant which seems to ask that I support his appeal, which I will not, The bar of the White Hart Stores in Lynn was lying on the pavement yesterday, with a notice saying closed for refurbishment. Any information would be welcome. The King William in Sedgeford is being advertised as for sale at £1.35 million.
