Close to Watlington railway station, by the village green, the Angel was established in 1795 and is recognisable still from the historic photo inside. There is both a simple public bar and lounge bar with couches, pool table and extensive dining areas. Outside is a large patio and lawned area with a marquee. This award winning pub heavily promotes its food - a plated roast special is served on Sundays. The farm shop is open 10-3 pm.
