    The Stuart House Hotel in King’s Lynn has closed and the White Hart at Foulden is up for sale.
    On a more positive note, builders will be on site towards the end of the month at the Warehouse Tap Room at Setchey to start repairs after last year’s fire, with a re-opening planned in the new year.
    The Globe Inn in Upwell and Rampant Horse in Fakenham has re-opened.
    The Lord Nelson in Burnham Thorpe has been taken over by Greg Hacon on behalf of the Ebrington Collection and is looking to expand the pub’s collection of Nelson memorabilia.

    The Canary and Linnet at Little Fransham which closed in 2022 has been bought by Malcolm and Mandy Clark who are looking to reopen it. The pub may have a change of name and offer coffee during the day.

    Also, after a long period of closure, local hospitality operator Sean Whyman will be taking on the Jenyns Arms on the riverbank near Denver Sluice

    Both pubs are likely to need a few months refurbishment before trading again, but the future looks positive.

    New owners Perry Sturge and Daniel High have re-opened the refurbished Lattice House in Lynn and cask ale is available. There is a restaurant upstairs, and bar food available downstairs.

    The Rose and Crown in Harpley has also recently re-opened.

    An application has been made to build staff accommodation at the Ffolkes in Hillington to provide round the clock security for the premises.

    The former jewellers on Chapel Street in King’s Lynn has been bought by the Crown and Mitre and will be converted into bed and breakfast accommodation connected with the pub.

    The Eagle and the Gatehouse in Lynn have both recently undergone refurbishment and have reopened after a period of closure.

    Yet another change of use application has been submitted for the White Hart at Foulden.

    The Lattice House in Lynn has been taken on by the current owners of Dr Thirsty’s and the nightclub Rewind, the plans include a lounge and bar area downstairs which sells real ale, with the upstairs area being a restaurant/ grill house.

    The Angel at Watlington has reached the final stages of the National Pub and Bar Awards while chef Richard Crouch, the pub’s owner, has made the final three of the Craft Guild of Chefs’ Pub Restaurant Chef Award.

    The Farmhouse in Fincham, near Downham Market, is preparing to open The Hayloft restaurant and The Piggery pub on June 1.

    The team behind Sculthorpe Mill, have taken over the Ship at Brancaster.

    Meanwhile, permission for the change of use of the Blue Lion at North Pickenham has finally been granted, and this will be converted to housing.

    The Wildfowler on Gayton Road in Lynn has re-opened and renamed as the Queen Elizabeth.
