Middleton Steakhouse is to be closed to be refurbished and will reopen under its former name, The Crown. The price point for food will be reduced, and it will revert to being more of a traditional pub .
A change of use application has been filed for the Coach and Horses at Tilney .
The Swan at South Wootton is reopen and being run by Jay, partner Maggie and family who also run the Black Horse at Castle Rising.
Also reopen is the Victory at Clenchwarton which has reverted to its original name after variously being The Pub, The Nelson and the Partridge in the last few years.
Less good news at the Freebridge Farm over the cut bridge in West Lynn which is one of the pubs being closed by owners Whitbread. This has happened at many of their sites close to Premier Inns.
Also closing is the Rusty Crab Rum Bar on the Purfleet in Lynn, though they will still be selling their products around the Farmers Markets in the area. .
The Bentinck on Loke Road in Lynn has received retrospective planning permission for a convenience store. There is still a small bar, Mims Bar, in one of the rooms.
